Identity Theft

Anyone else disturbed by the fact the HD Radio logo is basically a rip-off of the XM Satellite Radio logo?

It reminds me of those knock-off grocery brands your budget-conscious mother would try and foist off on you when you were a kid. You know what I'm talking about -- all your friends would have "Fruit Loops" and you'd end up getting something called "Fruity-Os."

Lest you think these are "unofficially" designs, or I'm creating controversy by creating my own logos in PhotoShop, click each logo and they'll take you to the media page on their respective sites where these logos are featured.

Obviously I've not been a fan of the idea of HD Radio from the beginning, but if the industry insists on producing this Edsel of a format, why not give it a unique brand instead of an also-ran?

Focusing primarily on terrestrial radio broadcasting, ZombieRadio.com is dedicated to pointing out the mindless and brain-dead actions of the mainstream media industry in general.

Don't get too comfortable satellite, television, cable, and internet -- we all know from seeing zombie movies that the contagion spreads quickly.
