RadioNeedsToListen.com
Cute stunt from Clear Channel as they decide on a new format to replace Detroit's Classic Rock "Alice." Launching the domain "1067NeedsHelp.com" they appear to open themselves up to receiving feedback from the listeners who will have to endure whatever new format is selected.

Asking each site visitor to submit their top five songs -- and boasting that they will become part of "Detroit radio history" -- CC says they are putting the future of the radio station in the hands of the public.

This could be a good idea, IF the powers that be would actually pay attention to (and act upon) the feedback they receive. Unfortunately, rumor has already escaped that the station format has already been decided -- Country.

This chance to become part of radio history has rapidly turned into a promotional swindle.
